Thanks for visiting our website. We are School of Nursing & Midwifery, Ihiala Alumni Association (SONMIAA). SONMIAA is the Alumni Association for all the former students and graduates of the above named school. We are a separately incorporated entity but collectively known as the Constituent Unit representing the parent organization of all School of Nursing and Midwifery Ihiala local alumni clubs, school-based alumni associations and professional alumni associations.

We create an atmosphere of community where every member or ex-student feels happily at home and has a sense of belonging. SONMIAA recognizes our Alma Mater as an institution of academic excellence dedicated to promoting and maintaining an environment that encourages their graduate nurse students’ collaboration with the school. We are committed to the advancement of membership collaboration through the formulation of strategies that foster charity engagements, volunteerism, and providing of mentorship support to the students of our parent institution.
